Safeguarding
Protecting children is our highest priority.
Where we have concerns about a child's safety or wellbeing, we may share relevant information with appropriate agencies without parental consent where this is necessary to safeguard the child or where required by law.
Safeguarding records are retained securely by Little Wonderland Nursery Ltd in accordance with our Records Retention Policy. Where appropriate, relevant safeguarding information will be securely shared with a child's next nursery, school or another relevant agency to support their ongoing safety and wellbeing.
Photographs and Videos
Photographs and videos may be taken to support children's learning and celebrate achievements.
Parents and carers will be asked to indicate their preferences regarding the use of photographs on our registration forms. Consent may be withdrawn at any time where processing is based on consent.
CCTV
If CCTV operates within the nursery, it is used solely for the purposes of safeguarding, security and crime prevention.
Appropriate signage will be displayed, and recordings will be retained only for as long as necessary.
